Why?

Best-selling author Ravi Venkatesan and applied AI venture capital expert Will Poole are writing “Flourishing with AI” for early- to mid-career professionals and their managers who are barraged with a combination of AI fear-mongering (Terminator- or Matrix-style dystopian scenarios) and uninformed platitudes (“don’t worry AIs are not that good at doing real jobs”). 

To date, nobody has written a pragmatic how-to book addressing how AIs can positively help and negatively impact jobs and careers in the near and medium term. The authors are not only writing that book, they are also creating an AI-driven "JobBot" that will engage readers as they write the book, further informing their writing.  JobBot will be a resource to future purchasers of the book providing up-to-date recommendations of how to chart their career progression in a chaotic and fast-moving professional world of work.
